The Prayer that Changes Everything

the book that I love to read again and again      I started reading this book by Stormie Omartian in the year 2009 and since then I have been repeatedly reading this literary work particularly the chapter that points to the situation I am in.      Who wouldn't want a life of peace, joy, fulfillment, hope, and purpose? A kind of life where despite of all the problems coming our way, we can still manage to be thankful and happy. And how can we have this kind of life? By having a close relationship with God. And how can we have a close relationship with Him? First and foremost, we have to know Him by reading His story, the Bible. Then receive His Son, Jesus Christ, who laid down His life for us, crucified on a cross, to save us. And as we become close to God we can communicate with Him through prayer. According to Stormie, prayer is a love relationship, it is baring your soul to the One who loved you before you even knew of Him and letting Him ...

My 60 before 60

      I was inspired by Lisa of Happy in Dole Valley of the things she writes on her blog, her recipes, her garden, her hobbies, and the Bible verses and inspiring messages that she shares. I was also inspired by my daughter, Cham of Walk with Cham , who started with her blog a few months back (she actually helped me with this blog of mine). Thank you, Lisa. Thank you, Cham.            2 years and 5 months from now and I'll be 60! I might as well write the things I want to do before i run out of time. I thank God that I look younger than my age (according to the people around me), and I feel young. God is so good, He gave me strength to persevere under trial and now He let me live a good life. I also thank God for my beautiful family. Now that my 3 children are now grown-up and have a life of their own, I now have all the time to do what I want to do which I was not able to do when they were growing up. And yes, I now have more...
