One Night Stay in Subic

    It was a sunny morning of the 19th of May, this year, when my one of the things to do before I turn 60, materialized. Many thanks to my loving sister who treated us as her Mother's Day gift to us, namely, my mom, my sister, Lolit, and me. It was also her birthday gift to my other sister, Luchi who turned 50 on April of this year. My ever-supportive daughter, Georgina, willingly offered to take me to Subic, the place where we all agreed to stay.

On our way to Subic, at SCTEX

We're almost there :)

Stopped by Texas Joe's for our lunch

We were given crayons and manila paper spread out on our table

My note to my daughter :)

Georgina's fancy doodles

Our barbecued baby back ribs, so far the best ribs I have tasted.

Along the same street, a few steps away,  is Terrace Hotel, where we planned to stay.

My mom at the back, on the bed from the left: my sister Lolit, my brother Leo (who accompanied my mom and sisters), my sister Luchi and Georgina.

It was me this time.

Leo left us  because he had to go to work.

My brother ,Junn,  my sister-in-law, Annie and their kids, namely, JanJan, Joshua and Jamie,
followed to be with us for dinner at Extremely Expresso.  Glad to be with my family even for a short time :)

These are some of the food we ordered. We were here New Year of this year
with the family and the food I must say is better then than today.

 Went back to the hotel, after enjoying our time in the casino (too bad no photos allowed in the casino) My mom treated us and taught us how to play slot machine lol.

With the girls

With the boys (Teopengco's trade mark - sleep anywhere) haha!

My mom, trying to contact Lelet and Lito (my sister and brother in the US) while midnight snacking.

Tired and sleep-deprived Georgina on the additional bed we requested.
My mom insisted that she sleeps on the sofa for the 3 of us to be able to
sleep comfortably on the king-size bed. It's better for her backache, she explained.

    The following day, we had our breakfast delivered to our room because we were enjoying so much lying on our bed, doing nothing, thinking of nothing, being stress-free and just being happy, that we opted to have breakfast in bed.

We ordered all the breakfast set meals available, Filipino and American.

Happy smiles all, after a good night's sleep :)

Time to leave... at the lobby.

   We went to SM Olongapo, which is a few steps from Subic boundary, after we left the hotel,  and then proceeded to Harbor Point Mall where we had our lunch.

At Cabalen Restaurant Buffet

My plate for the first round :)

There's Leo, who will drive my mom and my sisters back home in Bataan.

    Georgina and I stayed for a while to see more of Harbor Point and we wanted to leave Subic after sunset because it is more comfortable to travel at night.

    Have to cross out #59 in my 60 before 60 :D.  Many thanks to my loving sister, Lelet, who made this possible. Thank you, Lord for a wonderful experience.

You make known to me the path of life;
in your presence there is fullness of joy;
at your right hand are pleasures forevermore.
