Starting the Year Right

Before I post something for 2015, I would like to start it right, and there's nothing better than starting it with a prayer. I have been reading this book by Stormie Omartian, my favorite author, since I bought it a year ago. This, I would gladly share.

Everyday you get to read some verses from the Bible (from Genesis to Revelation) and the author gives insights and teaches the readers how to start conversations with our Heavenly Father through prayers.

Here's one of the verses I read:

    Leviticus 16:30

On this day, atonement will be made for you, to cleanse you.
Then before the Lord, you will be clean from all your sins.

Everyday is a day of atonement. Jesus Christ paid the price for our sins already and I accept that. Everyday my sins are carried into a desert, a place where I will never have to enter. I will go to God with a heart of gratitude and will thank Him that nothing can separate me from His love. I pray that God will help me to extend to others the love and forgiveness that He has given me. I pray that God will teach me how I can show my gratitude to Him for all He has done.
